Introduction
Elite Products is a Young Enterprise group based in Rainford High. The group consists of 9 members and focuses on selling products such as stationery and seasonal confectionary products.
Our Start Up
We thought that it would be important as a business to ensure that we were financially secure before we started to experiment with different product ideas. Our method of doing so was to have our own stall at our school's popular summer festival in the summer of 2013. We sold a selection of refreshments including drinks, ice-lollies, sweets and chocolates. Overall our success whilst at the festival was exceptional and beat all expectations!
Deciding The Right Product
After many hours of thinking and changing the decided product, ELITE finally made a decision to sell stationery in school. We found that this was a gap in the market as nobody had come close to this idea before despite the fact that teachers would constantly have to 'nag' their students to bring in the correct equipment.
Business Up and Running
Post the Christmas holidays, ELITE has commenced sales in school. We are currently selling a selection of stationery including pens, pencils, ring binders and more.
